does vrrpd only work for two nodes?

Hi all

I am testing vrrpd on two redhat 6.4 machines to set up a VIP for them.

It works perfectly and yet when I tried to add two new machines to the cluster the VIP no longer responds.

It also works when I put 3 machines in the cluster, but once I add the fourth one it fails.

This is the cmd I am using, they all share the same priority at 255.
vrrpd -D -n -i eth1 -v 2 -a none -p 255 10.10.10.10

Yet the VIP is pingable from each of my four hosts and it is only from externally I can't reach my vip anymore. Ping just hangs.

I am doing it according to this document here:
http://www.fwbuilder.org/4.0/docs/us..._cluster.shtml

Thanks

Need more information.

What is the config for two? Three? Four?

Is priority set right?

Logging?
