Does ubuntu one work with other Linux distros that doesn't come with it preinstalled?

Hi, I installed Linux Mint 13 KDE and before I did I was using ubuntu 12.04 which I could use ubuntu one straight from the folder.

Now the only way to get my files from ubuntu one is to go online and download the files. however it's my financial sheet and when I update information on it, it only saves it to my computer instead of syncing to the cloud. How do I get the ubuntu one folder to work with Mint 13 so that it will automatically update it? I contacted ubuntu one but I haven't gotten a reply. thank you.

Check this link out.

It has been a while since I used it but apparently the only Linux it is actually made for is Ubuntu and derivatives. You could install it from source (assuming you can actually get the source code) on any other if you so wanted. It is available for Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android, and Ubuntu. You'd think they'd make it easily available for all Linux users if they ar going to make it available for everyone else that doesn't use Linux. I personally now prefer DropBox and am even going to try OwnCLoud soon.

Yes but you will have to grab the client source and repackage it for your own distro yourself.
