Does Suse/KDE have a 'minimise all windows' function
If so, how, etc.

Hi, The KDE panel (usally along the bottom of your desktop unless you changed it) has an icon on it that looks a bit like a desktop which will minimize all

I think this is distribution specific because my Fedora and my Redhat machines dont have it but Mandrake did.
There must be a command somewhere that does this. |
ah right, sorry, I assumed KDE would be the same on other distros

My panel missed out too, but if you can tell me the program it runs, right-click on icon, click on Properties, click on Execute tab and tell me what is in the Command box, then I can make one for myself. Mightn't have as pretty an icon as yours though.

Hi, I don't use KDE any more, changed to debian/ fluxbox,
sorry :/ |
SuSE 8.2/KDE (and perhaps other versions as well) has cleverly hidden the "minimize all" button. To add it to your taskbar, right-click on the taskbar itself and go:
Add -> Special Button -> Desktop Access (Depending on where you right-click on the taskbar, you may need to start by selecting Panel Menu first.) |
