AFAIK the tool is free of charge. But I remember something that it is not allowed anymore to install Windows on a different machine than on which it was shipped. Not sure though. The Windows I run is XP which I somehow got somewhere. I do have W7 on this laptop, but the boot entry doesn't appear in Grub anymore. I think I wrecked that during a dist-upgrade or so. I wished that I could migrate that W7 partition to VB.
I am seriously considering to [aarrruuuughhh] buy a W7 so I can install it in a VM and run MsOffice for those occassions that I am forced to work in a Windows only MsOffice dominated environment. The money that I throw away ... uhhh spend is much less than to try and live with LibeOffice horrendous compatibility.
