do you know if this system will work
 
do you know if this system will work

just ran a beleric test and it came back with this infomation, do you know if mandriva can be installed onto this computer (not dual)?

on the side of the machine is a little sticker that says
"designed for microsoft windows XP"
if you google for images of them words you will see the words and logo sticker

Mandriva should be fine on that machine. Looks like a very standard PC.

yup..it will work.. dual boot also..remember that linux works with a HUGE number of architectures, and your computer is standard x86...so no worries

Not a problem, that is just a tricky strategy to keep you from liberating the PC.
