Do I need new driver?

Display still not working. I tried xf86config and tried NVidia, Generic but still nothing.

Everytime I try to start X I get this:

Failed to initialize NVdriver kernel module

Screens found but none have usable configuration.

Can anyone help?

In Mandrake you should edit the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file and you should
change the driver name from "nv" to "nvidia" and not generic. There are
clear instructions at the Nvidia site on the driver download page. The file
there is called README - Text or something similar.
