DNS problem with Mandrake 9.2
 

I have Mandrake 9.2 installed and internet access using a ADSL modem-router. DHCP is enabled and working.

After every reboot, DNS server settings are deleted from resolv.conf. I have to log in as root, add my ISP's DNS server IP manually, then log back in as normal user in order to access the internet. This works as long as I don't reboot. After reboot, resolv.conf always shows up 3 entries

nameserver 127.0.0.1
nameserver 192.168.0.1
nameserver 0.0.0.0

Besides changing the settings manually, I have tried using the Mandrake control center and webmin interface to no avail.

The problem began after I failed to upgrade to kernel 2.6.2 and in order to recover the system I had to repair my installation using the install discs.
