Distro based on what?

I've been playing around with a couple different distros. I'm undecided on which one I want to stick with, but it got me thinking. Is there a page where it lists what distro is based on which distro? For instance, it could list that Slax is Slackware based.

Reason I ask is it seems like the distro web pages try to avoid saying what they are based on. Thanks in advance.

I was hoping for a list that pulls them all together. On DistroWatch you have to pull up each distro and go down to the package management section. Thanks.

After briefly looking over the pages, these are pretty good. Not exactly what I was looking for, but fills the need. Thanks for the links.
