distro??


Can anyone tell which distro will be best suited for a newbie (B.E(Info. Tech))??

you should beable to find alot of threads on that in lq and if your still not sure i would say find the distros you know about alreadt sites and see what they say about each one.

mandriva or mepis

I believe these are the easiest to install. If you are doing single-boot, use the mepis CD. If all your hardware is recognized while operating under the live-evaluation mode, a click on the desktop starts the installation procedure. A single boot install involves about 4 mouse clicks, accepting default settings.
