Display Settings.

Hello,

I just installed Fedora 8 and I can't get the display settings above 480x640. I tried system.config.display and my options are bound by 480x640. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to LQ.

Try "system-config-display --reconfig" and select new setttings for your Monitor and then change the resolution.

Try running "X -configure". If that does not work, you may have to tinker with the Xorg config file manually. Also try Fedora 9 or another distro.
