Display Problems
 

I installed Redhat Linux 7 which came with the book "Redhat Linux 7 for Dummies."
The installation was sucessful. However, when I tried to use the scrollbars or move a window, the display got messed up as if I have hundreds of windows open. This problem also happened during the installation, but I thought that the problem will go away after Linux is installed.

I have a IBM E54 monitor and a SR9 Pro Display adapter. (16mb SDRAM)

The manufacturer is Number Nine Visual Technology and its version is 002.
The date of the driver(in Windows 98) is 8-11-1999 and its version is 4.11.01.9555-8.10-09

Who makes the SR9 and what chip does it have on it?
