Post Display Drivers

I have recently installed Linux-Mandrake 7.2 on my system, and are looking for a linux driver(s) for my NVidia GEForce4 ti4400, or a compatible driver that will let me have 1024x768@75hz. I have visited the nvidia sites linux section, but I am unsure as to which driver I should get.

And also does AMD64 refer to the 64bit processer?

there is only one nvidia driver, it's just in different packages. get the tar.gz and read the documentation and search this site for a LOT of identical questions.

oh and get a new version of mandrake, that's ancient.

If you go to the Nvidia drivers page, you probably select IA32. I think that it stands for INternal Architecture 32 Bit . I know that Mandrake 8.1 is a 32 bit operating system. You might as well try it for Redhat 7.1. Hope it helps
