disk partition problem
hi guys , i use a laptop with 60 GB hard drive , i was using Fed 7
now , when i try to redo the partition for fedora 8 , the space except for boot , / , home , temp , everything else disappears , i.e almost 55GB of space. can someone please tell me how to partition to get a two 25 GB spaces for the media, data etc and the rest for a nice boot and what not ! mem is 512 so swap ?? ( 1GB ?? ) please show me how to get a nice partition , i am tryin hard but i have to do all over again |
From the terminal type
fdisk -l and post the output. |
You might try Gparted. It has a boot disk. Works nicely.
