Disc read error?Mandrake9.2


I have installed Mandrake9.2 but I have a problem specially playing graffics(game and dvd).and Firstable I installed os with NEC cd rom and there was not big ploblem. but since I bought dvd player which is LITE-ON,and deleted old os and reinstalled Mandrake again and now video play back is problem,screen skips,some times audio problem with dvd.
The cd mandrake media is copy that I bought it ceap.$7.95-
I do not know what is exact problem.
