disable roaming profiles

ok.. at first i thought this is nice but i seem (still) don't know howto control things so i decided not to use roaming profiles...

i disabled it and some of the workstations is now using their localprofiles (winNT and winXP) but i have still problems with windows 2000... it kept on contacting the server for the profile..

i can't find how to disable the roaming profile in win2k i already triedto do .. MY COMPUTER>>PROPERTIES>>USER PROFILES but it is set on localnot roaming... i also tried to search the registry but i don't know that to searchfor..pls help..TIA Kent
