Smells like homework to me.

Here's a website that discusses installing Linux:

Is Linux easy to install?

To install a single workstation, the CD install is easiest, at least to me. Pop in the CD, boot the workstation, config as per the installer, and go have coffee. Nearly always works if you have a good CD.

If I'm doing multiple computers, then I might use the network method depending on the situation.

Hello,

Ghosting using a product like Norton Ghost has always been easiest for me. You can create a nice image of the computer on one machine when create the image file and transfer it through the network to another machine.

Have never installed from a harddisk. But installing from Network is easy but it needs lot of bandwidth and time as the softwares will be pulled directly from the ftp/http mirror we chose and installed. With CD you have all the necessary softwares in the CD itself.
