Difference between c and b file types in /dev
hi
crw-rw----, brw-rw---- .whats the difference between C & B.. This type of files located in /dev directory.

Hi Ashok,
You should post each new question as a seperate thread. I can't give you a full answer to this anyway except to say they are different file types. I suppose you know d is directory and l is symlink. c & b are special file types.
Please ask this question again as a new post.
