Dial-up Setup


This is my first time to try linux

I am using mandrake 9.1 and i don't know how to connect to the internet.

can you please give me a step by step tutorial on how to do this?

thank you in advance.


also i have set the resolution in 800X600 and i want to change it to 1024 where and how can i do this?

It will be hard to give accurate help without knowing what modem you have and as far as the proceedure, try using search at the top of this page or Google is another good resource. There are a lot of articles in detail at both places.
