I know this sounds a bit odd but I am trying to find out what my computer consists of. Had a crash and had to scavenge a few bits from friends. Is there anything available like Sisandra? My windows is not working so whatever I do has to be done from my Ubuntu 6.0 live disk.
I appologise if I have asked in the wrong forum, but I am not very "au fait" with linux yet.
SiSandra is detection and diagnostics. If you are looking for the former, you may be able to find lshw in the repository. If it is not available, see http://ezix.org/project/wiki/HardwareLiSter
