dhcp reservation

I have Redhat Linux AS3 running on a Dell PE 1440.
It's also our dhcp server.
How do I do a dhcp reservation.

Not quite sure I understand what you mean ...

If you want to have a machine get the same IP at all times,
you can add a section for it to your dhcpd.conf file like
this ...

group {
  # subnet includes both 172.1.252.* and 172.1.253.*
    subnet netmask {
  option domain-name "";
  option broadcast-address;
  option subnet-mask;
  option domain-name-servers,;

  # routing via firewall
  option routers;

  host  pseudostatic {
        hardware ethernet 0a:0b:0c:0d:0e:0f ;
        fixed-address ;
and so on ...
