Device Driver for a USB pendrive

Hi,

I am trying to develop a driver for a USB 2.0 pendrive.
I have a fundamental doubt, I have inserted module into kernel and created a device nod.Till now i have not touched the hardware part. Can anybody tell me How to flash my driver code to the pendrive?

Hi and Welcome to LinuxQuestions!

I believe the USB 2.0 driver has already been incorporated in the kernel for some time now.
You may be trying to re-invent the wheel!

Play Bonny!

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

In addition the firmware is unique and specific to the controller chip used in a particular flash drive. Reprogramming the firmware is not something normally done by the end user.
