Determining Connect Speed
I am using Fedora Core 3 and GNOME. In W98, when I establish a dialup connection with my ISP, an icon is placed in the SysTray. When I place my cursor over that icon, it reports how many bytes were sent/received since the connection was made along with the initial (and hopefully) current connect speed. In my case, that is usually 45,333 bps.
I wish to know how I can determine the connect speed established after the Network Device Control was activated. |
