Cool Desperately Trying to Swap Out the OS from WinCE 6.0

Hello there, I've been trying so hard to find/figure out how to swap-out my OS (WinCE 6.0) to any Linux OS (Ubuntu) OR anything else that I'm able to install on it. I have a Sylvania Synet07526-Z via 8505. Someone Please led me to where I need to find it or u'r suggestions... Thnx ;-)

Please see the LQ Rules about text speak.

And you are in for a very, VERY long learning process, with little chance of success. There are embedded distros that MAY be able to work with that device

..but not likely. And, you'll have to get some way to read/write the ROM's on the unit. WindowsCE wasn't meant to be removed...ever. You're going to have to replace chips if they're even ABLE to be replaced.

Some posts suggest it has been done. I didn't want to log on to them to find answer but search for this maybe.
