Desktop effects not enabled annoyance

Ok possibly in the wrong section but as I'm still something of a nOOb I thought I'd stick it in here to start off with.

I've got Fedora 9 running with an Nvidia GeForce7000M graphics setup, I've ran through the Livna display setup and got the nvidia drivers downloaded and all working lovely like however....the machine's not liking Desktop effects and refuses to enable them. This should be ok as I had it working before but a partition resizing screwed up grub and necessitated a reinstall and now this has started...any suggestions are all appreciated.

Running glxinfo | grep direct produces this output...
Quote:
Error: glXCreateContext failed
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 4 (X_DestroyWindow)
Resource id in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 24
Current serial number in output stream: 26
Locking assertion failure. Backtrace:

And my xorg thingy is as follows...

No doubt it's something glaringly obvious I'm missing but I'll be damned if I can see it so thanks for taking a peek

And again ignore me...I found a copy of my old xorg file I'd posted on here from before the reinstall and by replacing my current xorg with it it seems to have resolved this issue..hopefully not causing any major new issues in the process mind....yay
