Desktop Cube
 

Hi! I've just installed Linux Mint 9, and I just LOVE it! :D
However, I have a question. Since I've done some settings about the Cube, I was wondering: how can I have a clean desktop, if I cange it in Cube, without showing me the programms I run in the main desktop?

What version of Mint do you have, GNOME, KDE, Xfce, or LXDE? If you have anything else but KDE, you would use the CompizConfig Settings Manager, but in KDE, you would go into System Settings -> Desktop.

Hi Kenny, I have GNOME. Can you be more specific about the CompizConfig? What should I look for there?

I'm not really sure what you're asking here...are you asking how to place windows on alternate sides of the cube (i.e. other desktops)?

Assuming you have the "Rotate Cube" plugin enabled, you should just be able to drag a window to an edge of the screen, and if you keep dragging, it'll "flip" to the next face on the cube.

I would like to have no applications in the secondary taskbar... so that it's clean... You can see that it shows the applications from the main desktop
