Unhappy Desktop


Why are the icons and the fonts so small on linux?? How do I change these settings?????
I have RedHat 7.0

right click on desktop select display properties click on settings tab

Everything is still too small...

Could be the screen resolutions that were selected when X was configured. ie a 680x480 will give larger fonts and icons than a 1024x768. Try holding done the ctrl and alt key and pressing the + key on the numeric keypad. If you have multiple resolutions available this should cycle you through them one at a time. If you do have multiple resolutions available I'll let somebody that understands X talk you through changing the default resolution.
