Deluge can't connect to internet using mdsl

Hello all,

I'm using Fedora 16 trying to connect deluge (bittorrent client) to internet.
I'm connected with my mDSL and everything works perfect, when I try to start deluge, I get the 'Connection manger' asking for a valid connection.

Deluge asks for Hostname, Port, Username and Password, which I don't know how to get.

I'm using mDSL connected via the NetworkManger and recognized as Mobile Broadband.

can anyone help please.

how are you running deluge? locally or from another computer. Running deluge locally you should be able to use deluge-gtk or something. the ip/port user/pw all should be givent o you by your provider or setup by you when you setup the deluge session to begin with. The ip if you're running it locally and trying to access from the same computer is localhost/127.0.0.1

Hope that helps or points you in the right direction.

Thank you celthunder for your quik replay

The problem is not in my connection, I can surf and update normally.

The problem seems like Deluge wants the mDSL port or something (not sure), I think Deluge is trying to connect but can't configure it's settings correctly, so asked for the Hostname, Port, Username, Password and I don't know where that configuration is in my system.

If you can point to me where can I find these configurations since I've configured the mDSL settings with NetworkManger.

thankx

http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Faq
and
http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/U...Authentication

may help the userguide in general has quite a bit of information. Deluge should use your system connection and not care how you're connected it might not like if you firewall the ports it wants to use to dl/ul from but it shouldn't stop you from using it.
