Deleting Whole Trees
Despite it being environment-damaging, I was wondering if there are console commands that will delete entire directory trees? I have a /lot/ of useless stuff in my downloads directory and often want to get rid of install directories without having to go through all 50 sub-directories deleting everything and then the sub-directories themselves and then all the files in the directory and then the directory itself.
Don't worry, my forestry will be safety-conscious. :D
rm -rf /nameofdirectory
