Deleting LILO & Dual Boot

Hello,

I have Linspire 4.5 installed on one drive and Windows XP installed on another drive. When Starting my PC, first it shows the Linspire Menu. I think that is because of LILO.

If I try to delete LILO by using "lilo -u" or "fdisk/mbr", then Linspire menu will not be shown again ? If yes, then I can remove the Linspire drive, coz I tried to remove it before but Windows didn't work.

fdisk /mbr (from winXP) will delete lilo from the mbr (it'll over write it witht the windows bootloader).
