Debian-Squeeze-AMD64 has internet problem

Hi I am new to linux kernel programming.

To debugging kernel I am using Debian-Squeeze.

Actually "apt-get install gcc" occur some errors in Debian

When I use ifconfig there is no ethernet so that I guess Internet is

unavailable even if there is internet connection

Below is my screenshot from terminal.

Please somebody help me.

Thanks.

You have no network interfaces -- probably the firmware and /or drivers are not installed.

The screenshot appears to show an Ubuntu Unity desktop (as does the logo in your user panel) -- can you clarify exactly what you are running here?

Also, why are you trying to use squeeze -- this is still supported (as oldstable) but wheezy (Debian 7.8) would seem to be a better choice here.
