Debian Server with Squid Proxy with AD Authentication

I've set up an install of squid 3 on my Debian server according to this guide here:

Squid Proxy LDAP Authentication

It seems to work all okay but when I visit a website with it set as the proxy within my browser it keeps asking for the username and password - never actually authenticating, I have tried it on several browsers on different OSs - any ideas gentlemen?

Good luck with this one ...

Have done this in the past, and always the issue on the Microsoft side (server).
You need to check the logs on the Windows server to see if the authentication is passed to the server and what the results are.
Radius authentication is another option for you to look at maybe ?

Hmmm my logs look very normal but every request is getting TCP_DENIED messages, it does correctly log the users credentials so that's not an issue at least.

I'm sure there's just a tiny bit wrong here but it does fathom me..

HI there

The TCP_DENIED is on your Squid server ? What is the whole error line ? Didi you specify your internal network range with a name, and then authorized that name for authentication. Maybe you missed that ?
