Debian-Lenny: How To-make a recovery disk or partition?

So I've got Debian working just the way I want it. I got my ATI drivers working, Flash player working, Splashy working, NTFS detection @ boot, All of my problems have been fixed. I know from experience that one day I will hose up my beautiful working system by trying to fix what isn't broken, so how would I make a recovery DVD or Partition that would save me the trouble of having to go through all the steps of getting everything working again manually? It would be much easier to just restore my configuration from a disk than redoing everything from the ground up. Thanks in advance.
