Debian Install from new installer
I used the 110 megabyte image from debian.org (the new installer) to install debian for the first time.
I have one problem I hope that you all can help me with.
I previously had Suse 9 installed. There was 2 linux partitions / and swap (I did it simple).
Debian's installer picked up my XP NTFS partition and those two partitions. I used Debian's installer to set the / as bootable and formatted it Reiser. I formatted the swap over again as well.
The install proceeded and when grub was configured it only saw the debian install, not my xp partition. Upon reboot there was no option to boot into XP only debian.
I've never configured grub by hand or needed to. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to be able to boot into my xp partition. It is very important. Even if I need to 'destroy' the linux install, that is fine, I am just using it to learn.
Thanks for any answers!
