Debian Install
I have an old Western Digital Spartan Hard Drive which I am trying to use for a Debian Install. however, I do not know the module to load at during the install. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I think the kernel can support it.but sometimes, you need to recompile kernel. The version 2.4.20 ,I think, can support Western Digital Spartan Hard Drive .

Am I able to install Debian 5 then? When I go through the install, it gets to the partition part and looks for my hardware. It then asks me to specify the module for the harddrive. Unless I connected my drive wrong, which I will go check, I assume I would need to know the module. Or would I completely need to use a different kernel, since it is 2.6.26.
