Debian burned CD will not load...

I want to dual boot Debian 3.0Linux and Windows 98. Initially, I used FDISK and partitioned the drive with a 50% DOS primary active partition. I left the other 50% untouched.

I downloaded an ISO of Debian via ftp and opened it with ZipGenius (I used FileZilla to download ISO; configured to file transfer in Binary.). I then copied it to CD using Nero. I rebooted my system and CD and HD tries and tries to read but nothing happens (configured to boot from CD in BIOS).

I then booted into Windows and looked at the files on the
CD, and it shows as an audio CD with none of the information
on the disk.

What should i do now?

In Nero (not Nero Express), clicking File --> New should bring up the wizard. That wizard gives you the option of what 'type' of disc to burn. Did you choose to burn an image file?

I clicked NEW. Chose CD, clicked NEXT, Compile NEW CD, then
I chose Data CD. I don't see an option for burn an image file;
I remember seeing it on other nonrelated burns, but its not where it should be... on the bottom right side of the wizard window, by the option to copy a CD.
Is there something in the options that I missed?

You're making it harder than it has to be.

Under the "File" menu there will be something that says "Burn Image" or something close to it (that's what 5.5.8 says).

That will open a file browser. Select the .iso image and open it. Then just tell it to write the CD and away it'll go.

You don't unzip isos to burn them in Nero. ZipGenius should not be involved.
