Question debian 6 and centos 6 in one laptop


hi
i am install first debian 6 in my laptop then i am install centos 6 on other drive ,both now i cant access to my debian in start up menu(GRUB)
how can i fix this problem?

if it's grub 1 /boot/grub/menu.lst add your entry for debian.

something like

root(<disk>,<boot partition>)
kernel <kernel>
initrd <initramfs>

or something to that effect you can google for more specific information

When you installed Debian, did you install GRUB on the MBR? Where did you install GRUB in the CentOS?

but i am install debian grub in mbr and then i am install centos grub alsoo in mbr,this is my problem,how can i manage this.

you only need one install of grub so having one in MBR should be fine. Did you find the menu entry for centos and try adding one for your debian install.

before i post this message here,i am remove and debian,now i am instal debian ,but now i want install again centos.but i cant manage grub for both os

Install Debian first with GRUB on the MBR, then install CentOS with GRUB on the root partition of the Cent OS. Post back when you're done with that.
