debian 6 amd64 on install on Micro SD card - howto do it?
i am certain that this info is available somewhere.
trouble is that i can not find it anywhere.

If want more, look for "debian bootstrap" in Google. Beware of the CPU you want it for.
For about the last 10 years, linux has used scsi as a way to talk to storage media. That and some few other tweaks lets you install to the sd card as if it were a real hard drive. There are some issues to watch out for but if you remove the installed hard drive and your system boots to bios and sees the sd card then you just install to the sd card like a real drive.

jefro - the main purpose of setting these systems with cards is to use SCSI storage centrally. thus stop duplicating data and storage - with an easier setup to back up and look after.
