Debian 3.1.r1, cups, canon s100-USB, can not adjust printing


Debian sarge r1, canon s100
Problem: Can°t make cups to work!

From those pictures it does not appear that cups is even running try these commands.

According to this page it is using the correct driver when you try so make sure that you have the packages I list above installed and use the http://127.0.0.1:631 to go to the cups interface and set up the printer using the /dev/usb/lp0 for the device.
