Debian 3.0r1 installation problem
I'm having this problem installing Debian woody, it won't detect my pci ide controller(Sil680) which has the drive I'm going to install it to. I probably need to preload the appropriate module in order for the installer to pick it up, but where can I find it? I tried the bf2.4 flavor but it doesn't help.
Can anyone help me? TIA |
What is your CD-RW drive jumpered to? I got my disc to load after I changed my drive from secondary master to primary slave and reburned on a *new* disc.

ah the cdrom boots fine, I can get into the installer, the problem is when I try partition it doesn't detect the harddrives that's connected to the pci ide controller, which is the harddrive I need to install it to.
