Debain 3.0 and KDE

I have installed Debian 3.0 from floppies. After the installation process is complete, system boots into text mode. How do I get it to boot into KDE? (for root and User)

Thanks

You need to install the kde packages or whatever X systems before you can start kde.

You may install and configure the apt-get package then you are able to install any desire packages you want from the network.

After you have X and KDE installed use
startx
to run GUI.

In my system it's
/usr/X11R6/bin/startx
Maybe you just don't have it installed?
