DCP-J315W scanner wireless connection. Missing download of driver. Printer works fine

Hello all you happy people.
I am quite new to Linux UBUNTU and not very good at programming.
Anyway - I have managed to install the printerpart of my BROTHER DCP-J315W to my router, and it works fine with both this LENOVO T60 and my other labtop HP envy6 running on Windows 8.1.
I have tried to find a driver for the scanner part ("Pres-one-button" type).
So far I have only found very complicated driver suggestions which only vill work properly when reprogrammed/getting additional commands. This is far beyound my capabillities as programming is conserned.
I am sure someone out there has the right solution.
