Anyone know what data type 9 not supported is supposed to mean? Whenever I try to do an rpm on a driver file this is the error I get. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your rpm-package is too old. What version is it that you have installed? rpm --version
Maybe an upgrade solves your problem.
