And 192.168.1.25, 192.168.1.30, 192.168.1.54 for dansguardianf2.conf

Hi struggled,

You can find under /etc/dansguardian directory there is a file called bannediplist.
Put your internet access denied IP's to there.

For the full access /etc/dansguardian directory there is a file called exceptioniplist
Put your full access IP's there.

Then restart the dansguardian service.

(Sometimes /etc/dansguardian location can be different in your system according to installation method.)

I hope this will helpfull...

Hi try following,

Add facebook.com to exceptionsitelist which is in dansguardian directory.

OR

Is it possible you to access facebook.com with out dansguardian. I mean stop the dansguardian and use proxy port as a squid port and check ???

You already have a thread on this subject open. Continue there. I have already responded there. Reporting it to be a duplicate.

I have a single policy allowing users to access facebook, all sites covered by that rules open smoothly except facebook....

it only displays text boxes and text, pictures and graphics is not.

Why are you opening the threads on subjects that you already have? Keep all the conversation at one place.

I merged two of your 4 dansguardian threads; this is quite enough
of that - should you spawn any more I'll just close them.

Cheers,
Tink

You have got enough of help. It seems you have not gone through the link I have given in one of my posts. It should answer your most of the queries related to dansguardian.

Not a very prudent thing to say to a moderator
who points out the wickedness of your ways. I
suggest you take time to a) re-read the perfectly
valid answers you received in all your threads and
b) adjust your attitude towards the board, its
rules, the friendly members trying to help you and
the moderator team ... otherwise you may find that
your time on LQ is quite limited, shall I say.

Cheers,
Tink

You completely out of your minds. If you got to get help, you need to keep that attitude out of this forum and then ask. Else this is the same mods will tell you. And speaking so rudely to a mod is not going to get to well with other members.
Else if you cant then GET LOST.
