Just to prove I'm not only trolling, I would say that AIX sysadmin duties are quite a lot like those of any other Unix or Unix-like sysadmin. I suggest either (or both) of the following books:
- UNIX and Linux System Administration Handbook (ISBN 9780131480056)
- Essential System Administration (ISBN 0596003439)
I've read both and can heartily recommend both. The former has a recent edition release. The latter is slightly dated, but still highly relevant. These comprehensive texts should supplement IBM's official documentation nicely.
