Just installed mandrake 8.0 (3 days ago) and i can get my D-Link DFE-530TX ethernet card to work. I read the ethernet-howto but no luck. The only way i found to disable plug and play was through BIOS. The disk that came with my card had no utility to disable plug and play. Please help me :)

is it even essential to disable pnp?

i just recently got the same card to work in rh7 . Mine won't work with pnp enabled. There's lots of messages about this card in networking.
