cygwin ssh and zonealarm
I'm trying to ssh to a linux server using cygwin. The connection itself works fine, but I can't get X-forwarding to work.
The message I'm getting is:
connect localhost port 6000: Connection refused X connection to bsmgate1:11.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
ForwardX11 is set to yes in /etc/ssh/ssh_config on the remote machine and in /etc/sshconfig on my machine. Do I need to make any other changes to the config files?
I have a btbroadband connection and am running zonealarm. Does the message mean that my firewall is blocking the connection? If so, can anyone suggest a free windows firewall that's compatible with cygwin (I can't seem to open individual ports with the free version of zonealarm). If not, can anyone tell me what the problem is?
