cvs servers HD crashed
 

I was running CVS server in a machine whose harddisk crashed.
I have the files intact in the client machines + also a backup server(where we backed up using rsync over ssh)

Can someone tell me the steps i need to do to restore to old (hard disk crash prior-state)state


I am using redhat 9,cvs-1.11.2-10

Having the files on the client's machines won't do you any good as you don't have the earlier revisions to the files but just the latest ones. You said that you backed up the repository on the backup server right? Have you tried re-installing cvs-1.11.2-10 and restoring the repository from the backup server?
