CVS Import Issues

Dear all,

First of all sorry for posting in the wrong list.
I am using CVS in one of my servers

Server-5:~ # cvs --version

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.22 (client/server)
with CVSACL Patch 1.2.5 (cvsacl.sourceforge.net)

I import several projects in CVS. But Today when I try to import a new project of size 308MB, I missed one folder when I checkout that project from Eclipse.

I fail to post in the CVS Mailing List :
http://savannah.nongnu.org/mail/?group=cvs

I created a account on it but struggling to find how to post in it.

After issuing the command :

cvs import -m "import ABC" ABC cvsadmin start

All folders are imported & no error occurs but one folder core is not imported in it.Please check the output after the command :

I ABC/core
N ABC/Window.java
cvs import: Importing /hrd2-p/repository/WIPOrkashGlobe08/src/gov/util
N ABC/ShadedPanel.java
N ABC/util/GB.java

Please let me know if anyone has any idea about it.

Thanks

What's the directory name, what are the permissions & ownerships on it?

Any messages pertaining to that directory?

Cheers,
Tink

Folder name is core

I solved the issue because CVS doesn't import the subfolders named core

I rename that folder to cre and then import that project and succeeds.
It seems to me that CVS has reserved keywords.

If there is any way to import the project contained subfolder core.

Please let me know.

Thanks
