Customizing Ubuntu-USplash/That colour when you login

I was wonder what the easiest way to change the usplash is, and how to change that colour that shows when you log in, the "human" one, I have no idea how to change it. I changed my GDM and it's still the same. It's bugging me, it clashes with the rest of my theme and stuff. My cursor theme loads first, so I have this galactic blue cursor (ater blue), and it just looks plain funny. So any ideas on either query? Thanks a lot.

Open System->Administration->Login Window, select the Local tab, and choose a different login theme. I use Happy Gnome... Blue is better. :cool:

Cheers

From your Synaptic Package Manager load startup manager and you can change it all from there.

There is a http://www.gnome-look.org/ where you can find a lot of GDM themes.Then when you've downloaded the package open Login Window>Local and click on add new GDM them,then just select the package and click install.Select new theme and that's it.
If you have universe repository enabled then you can do from the command line;
Code:

sudo apt-get install gdm-themes
and after that you'll have more GDM themes to choose from.There is a background colour button also for GDM in the Local menu,just click on it and select the colour you want.
