Customizing KDE Start Menu

To add an HTML link to the start menu...I use htmlview file:abc.html in the command parameter.
How do I create a link...for say a PDF document then?
I don' need to use if the link is an application....this command seems to be only for non-apllication type links. Is ther any help on these things anywhere?

Thanks,
Ravi.

Maybe, you could just use the KDE menu-editor. If you add a new item, you can select wether it's a link, or a program.
